I had the privilege last Saturday of officiating the Wedding of two of the nicest people I've ever met - the lovely Sarah and Pete at their wedding over in the private chapel at Thicket Priory. We worked together crafting their ceremony in a way that was perfect for them, and reflected their beliefs and sense of tradition, as well as telling the story of how they met, and their journey as a couple. A truly special wedding for a truly special couple! I can definitely reccommend also the yummy lavendar infused biscuits that they chose as wedding favours.... I was lucky that one had my name on and was given to me by the couple as well as some wild flower seeds, that Im looking forward to planting when the weather picks up!

The chapel can seat 120 people with room for about 20 more when additional seating is added!
A real sense of traditional within beauiful and unique surroundings

Every venue really does have something special to offer, a unique point that makes it rather special and this beautiful chapel over at Thicket Priory near Ripon is no exception!

Holding your ceremony in a private chapel such as this offers the perfect opportunity to embrace a more traditional feel to your special day, without it being over the top in a religious sense. Of course you can include elements such as Hand Fasting, Jumping The Broom, and a whole host of other ingredients that can be made to enhance your wedding ceremony.

The chapel can accommodate 120 people with additional seating taking it upto 140, and it has a small, intimate feel about it that is unpretentious yet commanding at the same time! Set in the heart of this luxurious priory the chapel is definitely worth a viewing if you are looking for a private, unique traditional feel to your special day. Im very honoured to be officiating a number of weddings here later this year and highly recommend this gorgeous chapel as a beautiful and unique space, that is a must for any couples looking at venues to check out!

More information can be found on the Thicket Priory website and also by contacting Anna over at the priory.

Filming with the BBC over in Robin Hoods Bay

What an adventure I recently had over in Robin Hoods Bay and then over in Whitby. I've been working closely with The Endeavour Experience over in Whitby, developing some fabulous Wedding Packages with a difference. What is this difference I hear you ask - well the ceremonies are actually onboard the Endeavour which is a large replica ship sat in the middle of Whitby harbour. How romantic would it be to have your wedding overlooking the ocean with all the beauitiful town lights twinkling around, and then go downstairs into the restaurant and have some delicious food followed by a party and celebration. Im really excited about creating and delivering bespoke ceremonies onboard and was thrilled to be asked by Jayne if I was happy to be filmed by the BBC who were shadowing her for a documentary.

I felt nervous but have to say... but what a giggle we all had! Full credit to the lovely Shayan who was not only a total pro but an absoulte gem to work with. He put the three of us at ease with his lovely smile, conversation and wit! We started off at The Victoria Hotel over in Robin Hoods Bay, which has a beautiful organgery and ceremony area overlooking the whole of the bay, and then moved on to Whitby. Honestly... it was quite an experience! no rehearsal, no script, all of us keeping it real and letting conversation flow. I loved being part of a team which such lovely people and one true gent who made us all smile. A huge THANK YOU to everyone involved for a fabulous day and watch this space... BBC ready!
